Zeigo is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Massara to the Board of Directors.
Paul Massara joins Juan Pablo Cerda and Laurent Segalen on Zeigo’s Board of Directors.
Paul Massara has extensive experience in the energy and service sectors in Europe and North America. Having stepped down as CEO of Electron he is now an Advisor to the Board, as well as being an Adviser to Habitat Energy, a member of the Committee on Fuel Poverty advising the UK Secretary of State for Energy, and Chair of Medicinema, a charity that builds cinemas in hospitals.
Zeigo Founder and CEO, Juan Pablo Cerda said of the appointment “We are extremely excited to welcome Paul to the Board. Paul is a well-respected figure in the energy industry and will be key to Zeigo’s acceleration as we step into this new phase of growth.”
Paul said of his appointment “I am excited to be working with Zeigo as it seeks to help in the energy transition by creating a liquid, efficient and transparent marketplace for renewables and help companies in their procurement of renewable energy”.
The expansion of the board is another indication of the commitment Zeigo has to grow the business significantly over the coming years. Zeigo has had strong traction since commercial launch in September 2019. With over 300 renewable energy projects listed on the platform, paying creditworthy corporate clients, industry recognition and reports with leading industry players such as S&P Platts Global; there is a clear desire to keep that level of growth moving forward.
Zeigo is helping to democratise the renewable energy market for companies of all sizes, not just the tech giants. Getting more medium-sized companies familiar with the process of procuring renewable energy will have a significant impact and contribute towards a sustainable future.
